bookings are taken on the understanding that the following
conditions will apply in full in all circumstances.
We advise you to insure your horse for transportation, The driver
takes all reasonable precautions however, in the event of an
accident you are personally liable for your horse(s) in the event of
injury or damage sustained to or by your horse(s).
Whilst every precaution will be taken to insure a safe and
comfortable journey, should your horse(s) become unwell or very
unsettled we reserve the right to contact the nearest vet for
treatment or sedation if deemed necessary. You will be liable for
any veterinary expenses and any delay incurred at £15per hour.
You will be liable to cover the cost of repair for any damage caused
by your horse. You will have the opportunity to inspect the lorry
for any existing damage before the journey.
We can carry a limited amount of tack and other equipment at the
owners risk.
Please ensure your horse(s) have a passport. It is a legal
requirement to carry passports for horses in transit of which you
are personally liable. The original document must be given to the
driver prior to the journey commencing.
Prices quoted are based on the information given by the customer at
the time of booking, if that information is incorrect or changed and
results in any additional journey time, this may result in extra
charge.
Thirty minutes loading time is included in the quote, Should your
horse(s) take longer to load, an additional fee of £20 per hour (in
15 minute periods) will be charged. Should it not be possible to
load your horse(s) you will be charged a cancellation fee of 50-100%
which will take account of mileage already travelled and time taken
attempting to load your horse(s).
A deposit of 30% will be required to confirm any booking which is
more than two days ahead, all payments are due on the day of
transport at the latest, payments and deposits can be made by paypal
or bank transfer before the date of travel, cash or cheque (with
cheque guarantee card up to the limit on the card) on day of
transport. |
